I always have a great time here. No problems at all. I just wish they would bring back bags tourament . The owner is awesome and everyone is friendly

They should open the bar on Sunday and have bloody mary Sundays with a special bloody Mary they created! Last year that bar was hopping every Friday and Saturday. This year not so much. The restaurant should be open Friday - Sunday all day people at the pool I'm sure would love it! Staff is very friendly and I loved that they have a little camp store for emergency items when you just dont want to drive to town! With miniature golf n go carts for the kids.they also have 2 play grounds one on each side. The one on the poolside needs updating. Over all this is a great place to camp if you don't like a lot of people around you. The back forty as I call it is by the river but come end of July and all of August I call it Mosquito Hell! But your camping and bugs are part of the package! They can't really spray back there the run off will polute the river! We were in that back area 2 years in a row!! Though bathrooms are cleaned daily the Shower walls are not! Showers b y the pool house in the woman's bathroom take about 10 minutes to get hot water, same with laundry room, the showers and bathhouse by the camp store are very outdated and smell very badly of the well water!

Thought they was nice people out there.. I was SOooo wrong!! Want your throat cut.. Go there!! Place is run down wash out!!

We stayed over summer here and over all I loved it its just a bit dated in some areas. Love the pool but definitely in need of repair, would have been nice to have lounging chairs to sunbathe on. They have periodic activities and live bands at the bar. Wish there was more to do! The bar could use a little more atmosphere, I found it to be a bit boring. The fish fry was really good but restaurant hours were sporadic. Same with bar. Sometimes open on Thursdays sometimes not!

I spent a few nights here Labor Day weekend and it was a great time! We camped right by the river and it was beautiful. The community and staff are very friendly. Communal showers, bathrooms, etc as needed as well as a small shop. It's located in more of a rural area, so it's very dark at night and you can actually see the stars. Very affordable. Some things are a bit run down and not the cleanest, but it was fine considering we were tent camping. Liked it a lot and I'll definitely be back!

This is a huge campground! I was surprised at how nice the surroundings are. They could use some updates in the bathroom and the main office/shop.

I'm very excited that we will be back here for the 3rd summer again!! I can't wait til we get here again!!
